Bengaluru: Digital upskilling platform Simplilearn has partnered with the IndiaAI Mission under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, to host and roll out the national YUVA AI for ALL foundational course on its learning platform.

The collaboration is aimed at accelerating AI literacy and supporting India’s vision of building a digitally empowered and AI-aware society.

India has emerged as a leading adopter of artificial intelligence in the Asia Pacific region, with 56% of adults in metropolitan areas actively using generative AI in 2025.

Against this backdrop, the YUVA AI for ALL initiative seeks to democratize AI education and encourage 10 million citizens to acquire essential knowledge of artificial intelligence.

YUVA AI for ALL to Democratise Foundational AI Education

The program is designed to ensure participation from individuals across age groups, geographies, and socio-economic backgrounds, supporting the growth of India’s digital economy.

The YUVA AI for ALL initiative aligns with the country’s broader objective of building a widely AI-literate population and strengthening its position in the global digital technology ecosystem.

Developed as a free and accessible learning pathway, YUVA AI for ALL introduces learners to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence, its real-world applications, and its relevance in everyday life.

By hosting the course on Simplilearn’s platform, the IndiaAI Mission aims to significantly expand its reach, making foundational AI education available to students, working professionals, and citizens nationwide.

Commenting on the initiative, Krishna Kumar, Founder and CEO of Simplilearn, said that AI literacy has become a fundamental requirement in today’s digital economy, extending beyond IT professionals to citizens across all backgrounds.

He noted that partnering with the IndiaAI Mission enables Simplilearn to contribute to a national priority by making foundational AI education accessible at scale.

YUVA AI for ALL to Offer Co-Branded Certification

Simplilearn will host and launch the YUVA AI for ALL course on its platform, with learners receiving a co-branded certificate issued jointly by IndiaAI, under MeitY, Government of India, and Simplilearn.

The course integrates Simplilearn’s structured edtech delivery capabilities with the Ministry’s extensive repository of AI and technology resources, creating a standardized and widely accessible framework for foundational AI learning.

Abhishek Singh, CEO of the IndiaAI Mission (MeitY, Government of India), stated that the mission is focused on building widespread AI awareness and ensuring emerging technologies are accessible to every citizen.

He highlighted that YUVA AI for ALL represents a key step toward preparing India’s workforce and youth with foundational AI skills required for a technology-driven future.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in India’s efforts to build a comprehensive AI learning ecosystem, aimed at equipping citizens with essential digital skills and enabling broader understanding and adoption of emerging technologies.
